Are you living a life you love ?

As I sit here and look around at the mess that is taking over my house I think, “Oh Lord what have I gotten myself into”. I homeschool three of our four children, and have the blessing to be able to say we graduated our eldest daughter out of High School and into College (yippee). Along with homeschooling comes the job of everyday mommy duty and I run a successful network marketing business. Let me let you in on a secret...I wouldn't have it any other way. I LOVE my life....well maybe not the piles and piles of laundry, but it is worth it!


Today I have found a way that I can share my passion with others, do something for myself AND be home with my kids. But it wasn't always this way, I used to think I had to make a choice, either be a stay at home mom OR work a job with a boss (yuck!). 


I hope as you read my story you find yourself in my words and find hope that you too can live a life you love.

Just 8 years ago I was a successful Advertising and Marketing Executive. I created advertising campaigns for large International companies like Toyota and Honda. I won all expense paid trips and was at the top 20% of my sales force every month. I had recognition and prestige, and wore fancy suits (Today you’ll find me in my beloved yoga pants).

But I was at the mercy of a boss who had expectations and put pressure on me, every month I was expected to do more. I was stressed, overworked and burnt out. Bottom line I was unhappy, depressed and as a once single mom I needed to be home and available to my daughter more.

So I made a decision, I quit that corporate job and stayed home to raise my children. Can you guess what happen within the first couple of years? I began ask myself that familiar question, “Is this enough”. It wasn’t that I didn’t have enough to do, I had plenty of things to do to occupy my time. It was simply that I missed being a part of something bigger than myself, missed having a reason to get dressed up, missed the recognition….. lets face it motherhood is not valued like that of a “successful” Lawyer or Doctor or Business Executive.

So here we are today and I have found a balance of work and family that brings me incredible happiness AND the joy of staying home to love and nurture my kids. 


I am available to lead by example what it means to love, so they can model the same thing as they grow and help make this world a better place. I do life on my terms. I choose when I want to work and who I want to work with. I became a Mompreneur, I joined forces with a trillion dollar industry, so that I don’t have ALL the responsibility of running my own business, but all the FREEDOM.

The moral of the story is this, do what you love! Don’t be afraid to let go of what you know or add something that you don’t. We have a Spirit within us that guides us and helps us to accomplish and BE way more than what you are led to believe.

You don’t have to be stuck in Corporate America working long frustrating hours, or feel guilty about wanting to do something along side of being home with your kids. There is such a thing as YES/AND….everything doesn’t have to be this or that.
