What if the path to healing isn't about judging ourselves, fixing what we believe is broken, or deciding what is right or wrong about another person's journey? What if it begins with something much simpler, yet profoundly transformative: love, connection, and a willingness to see the world with an open heart?
At its heart, shamanism invites us to remember that we are not separate from the world around us. We are part of the great web of life, connected to the Earth beneath our feet, the animals who share this planet, the plants that nourish us, the elements that sustain us, and the unseen mysteries of Spirit.
We are nature, too.
Yet somewhere along the way, many of us become disconnected from this understanding. We learn to judge ourselves harshly, compare our journeys to others, label experiences as good or bad, and believe that we must become someone different before we are worthy of love.

Have you ever encountered an animal in a dream, crossed paths with one unexpectedly in nature, or noticed an animal appearing repeatedly in your life? Perhaps a hawk circled overhead just as you were asking for clarity, a butterfly landed nearby during a time of transformation, or a snake crossed your path when you were ready to shed an old version of yourself.
In shamanic traditions, animals can serve as messengers, teachers, and mirrors, offering us opportunities to connect more deeply with our intuition, our inner wisdom, and the natural world.
But what if the meaning of an animal isn't something you need to look up in a book or online?
What if the deeper message is waiting for you to discover it through your own relationship with that animal?
When an animal appears in your life, pause before searching for its symbolic meaning. Instead, become curious. Let yourself be present with...
In shamanic wisdom, the Serpent carries the ancient medicine of transformation.
We often speak of the Serpent shedding its skin—the releasing of old patterns, beliefs, identities, wounds, and karmic stories that no longer belong to us. It is a powerful image of death and rebirth.
But the medicine of the Serpent does not end with the shedding.
Â
What happens after we release the old self?
There is a moment when we realize we are no longer who we once were, yet we are still becoming who we are meant to be.
This is where the deeper journey begins.
We may encounter the forgotten, wounded, or hidden parts of ourselves. We may meet the places where fear, pain, ancestral patterns, and old beliefs have lived. But within those depths, there is also sweetness.
Â
There is wisdom.
There are gifts waiting to be reclaimed.
Â
The parts of ourselves we once wished to heal or escape may ultimately become some of our greatest teachers. W...

There are moments in life when something deep within us becomes clear.
A quiet knowing rises beneath the noise of everyday life.
We realize we are ready for something more. Ready to understand why we are here. Ready to follow the path our soul has been whispering about.
Sometimes, all we have to do is ask.
Show me.
Guide me.
Help me remember why I am here.
Recently, I did just that.
I set an intention that Spirit would guide me toward my destiny and my soul's mission. I asked to be shown the people, opportunities, and connections that could help me bring what I feel called to do into the world.
And then, Spirit answered.
It happened on an airplane.
I met two people who, in a remarkably short time, offered exactly the insight, encouragement, and practical guidance I needed. They helped me see possibilities I hadn't been able to see clearly before.
Could it have been coincidence?
I don't believe in such a thing, I believe in synchronici...
You Are Not AloneÂ
Â
When I first began my journey into shamanism, I often felt alone.
Â
I didn’t have many people I could talk to about the experiences I was having or the things I was beginning to discover. Some of it was difficult to explain. Some of it simply felt too sacred or too personal to put into words.
Â
But deep inside, I knew.
Â
I knew there was something real happening within me. I couldn’t always explain it, but my heart and soul recognized it. Something was calling me to follow this path, even when I didn’t know where it would lead or how I even fit into.
Â
So I said yes. I booked my reading to see if the shamanic path was meant for me.
Â
And that simple yes began to change everything.
Â
Along the way, I found a beautiful community of people who understood. People who were walking their own paths, asking their own questions, experiencing their own moments of wonder, uncertainty, healing, and transformation.
Â
And slowly, I began to realize something prof...
Â
What if the natural world has been communicating with you all along?
Not necessarily in words, but through the changing seasons, the movement of water, the behavior of animals, the wind through the trees, the cycles of the moon, and the quiet feeling you experience when you step into a place that somehow feels familiar.
For me, connecting with nature has become much more than spending time outdoors.
It has become a relationship.
Through my shamanic journey, I began to understand nature differently. I started paying attention—not just looking, but listening. Not just observing, but becoming present enough to notice what was happening around me and within me.
And I discovered something that changed the way I moved through the world:
Nature can become a teacher when we are willing to become a student.
Modern life trains us to move quickly.
We look at our phones ...

There was a time in my life when I didn’t know if peace was something I would ever feel again.
Â
I was living inside a marriage that slowly changed the way I saw myself, my life, and my future. These were difficult years—years of trying to understand what was happening, trying to hold things together, and trying to find my way back to myself.
Â
And somewhere in the middle of it all, I found shamanism.
Â
I didn’t find it because my life was peaceful, I found it because something inside me was searching for a different way of living, a more authentic, peace filled, joyful way of living.
Â
Shamanism didn’t make the difficult things disappear, it didn’t give me a life without loss, grief, fear, or uncertainty (well eventually it did, but the early stages were about overcoming the fear and uncertainty.) But most importantly what it gave me was a way to walk through those painful experiences without losing the deepest part of myself.
Â
It taught me to listen differently—to natur...
This time of year is when spiritual happenings become stronger, the veil is thinning and it's a beautiful time to connect with loved one's that have passed on to the other side, some you knew, others you did not, yet they are there, loving and supporting you none the less.
Â
The veil between the world around us and the spiritual world begins to thin with the Fall Equinox here in the Northern Hemisphere, when day and night are in equal balance. The weather becomes cooler and Mother Earth begins to slow down, she worked hard through Spring and Summer, Autumn then becomes the time to enjoy the bounty that has been grown. Mother Earth will then prepare for sleep as the Winter months come upon us, and the bounty is many because the people worked in harmony with her and now give gratitude and thanks going into winter stillness with full bellies, hearts and homes.Â
Â
This is the natural cycles of the Earth and us. There once was a time when people worked in harmony with these energies and...
I used to wonder if life simply meant getting comfortable with overwhelm and the need to overcome yet another challenge, I hear it from my clients almost on the daily, how hard life really can be. We do our best to stay positive in the face of challenges, but sometimes we need a little extra support.
My own health and mental crisis is actually what set me on my path of discovering shamanic wisdom and energy medicine, seeking answers that western medicine just didn't have for me or my clients anymore.
After facing a near death experience with the birth of my son, a scary Cancer diagnosis, two Autoimmune Diseases, Anxiety, PMS and Obesity, I was a hot mess and desperate for answers.
Â
I was done with the pain and traditional Western Medicine's bandaids and the therapy that just wasn't working anymore. I wanted to get to the real root of my suffering and transform it to something much more life giving and empowering.
Ultimately great challenges are an invitation directly from Spirit,...

If there ever was an urgent time to stand in your power, and do what you came there to do, it is now.Â
The mental illness in our country is at an all time high and it is destroying our children, our health, our relationships and frankly Mother Earth.Â
Â
There is a real urgency for change, for all of us to stand in our own essence and begin anew. Great medicine men and women all over the world are calling for each of us to become, "The one you are waiting for," rather than wait for a savior, a pill, or someone else to do something about it, step into your own power to heal and do something different.
Â
As a society we know change is vital, we see our children's safety being threatened, we feel the unrest deep within our soul, and know something needs to be done.
Physics teaches us that all action has a reaction, and if the majority of us remember who we truly are and step into real power, the scales can begin to tip back into our favor, and real life sustaining healing can happ...
