I don't know about you, but before I had a handle on my intense feelings, overwhelm was a familiar friend.

Episode 006: End Emotional Over-Eating


Hello Friend, 

I have been really studying emotional eating and managing the tendency to use food to numb out and not feel so much, so I created this weeks podcast to share with you in hopes to be of service.

As an empath we feel everything on such a deep level and the sugar cravings and overeating can sometimes be one of our coping mechanisms to help us numb those feelings out and not have to deal with them.

You know the feeling, the donut screaming your name on the break room table. The Ben and Jerry's calling you from the freezer. The warm chocolate chip cookies your daughter just baked, beckoning from the kitchen counter. The nachos eating away at your willpower as you binge on Netflix. Here they are again-the cravings!

We all have them, but do you know why, and what to do about them? Cravings have both physical and emotional components. The most common foods we crave are sugar, carbs, salt, chocolate and my fave cheese!

Episode 005: Journey to Wholeness and Living Your Most Spirit Led Life


Hello Dearest Friend, 

Today I want to teach you about uncovering your greatest gifts and releasing what it is that is getting in your way of living your best life, and serving at your greatest capacity.

At 82 pounds overweight I carried shame and fear, but not because of my weight.

Looking back I realize I felt those feelings well before I ever put the weight on with over-eating, and trying to numb out those feelings.

That shame led me to shitty boyfriends in school that abused me physically and emotionally. Did I truly understand my worth if I ended up in those situations?Or ended up in a religion that told me I had to have a husband to make it to the highest realms of heaven? 

I carried deep rooted shame, shame from inner parts of me that needed healed, not shame from my weight, my weight was simply a symptom of the shame I carried.

Play and Authenticity: The Equine's Gift

Hey There Friend,

I hope today finds you well. I am just coming in from being outside with the animals, maybe you don't know, but I run a 501(c) 3 federally recognized Non-Profit Animal Rescue, we call it Hillside Haven Pig Rescue, (although we have many kinds of animals here).

We've had rain here and they've all been cooped up. Horses that are usually turned out in big open spaces, were confined to smaller stalls under safe keeping from the weather. 

This really got me thinking, are we making time for play? By we, I mean you and me and our society as a whole.


Are we all cooped up feeling restricted and confined to the safety of our own creating? 

I've always been drawn to animals, they've saved me many times in my life.

They are a beautiful reflection of us, and what is possible, and a mirror of when we might be restricting and harnessing ourselves. Especially the beautiful, intuitive, highly sensitive equine.

Episode 004: Lies You Tell Yourself That Keeps Your Weight Stuck

The Secret To Finding the Perfect Plan After 40

Today I want to share with you the secret I discovered that made all the difference for weight loss after I turned 40.

A decade ago I was thrilled with losing 70 pounds and that weight stayed off, until I hit my 40's.

Then all of a sudden what I had been doing no longer worked, my weight slowly crept back on, my body began to hurt and my hormones went a little wacky!

I went nose to the books, taking courses, and threw myself into research, I wanted to know what was going on and what I could do.
